In Signs are knocking at your door with their new single

In Signs boast the latest melodic rock sound coming all the way from Kyiv, Ukraine. The three-piece band bring with them an immense new single that builds and builds until you are about to explode – and you want to do it all over again!

Introducing the rock track you never knew you needed, ‘Knock Knock’ is the first of several new songs from the trio, hoping to inspire new and old listeners and show the world that In Signs really mean business.

You can watch the brand new lyric video down below!

Combining something old and faithful with a twist of something new, atop influences from their Slavic upbringing, the new single really sets in stone what In Signs are about, simply through one song. The harsh, constricted vocals convey emotion that is only heightened by the incredible melody from the rest of the band.

It’s so important to be true with people who listen to your music and this is our main goal. There are a lot of artists nowadays but not all of them are doing art. We want to prove that music is not about money, it’s about the passion of your life. I’m a closed person and making music and writing lyrics is a perfect way for me to communicate with people. I become a songwriter by chance. I didn’t want to be a musician, it just came up after my first tattoo which is Metallica’s song title ‘Nothing Else Matters’. It’s such a great pleasure to play live some songs which I created from the very beginning. There are a lot of ways to create music but all our songs start from an acoustic guitar and vocals. ”

– Arsen, frontman of In Signs.

ME AND THE REST Release ‘MAMA’ Music Video And Single

Swiss hard rock band, ME AND THE REST, is back with release of their new music video for ‘MAMA‘, it’s the first single taken from the forthcoming album “We Are Bulletproof” due out beginning of 2021 via RockAvenger. The video can be viewed below:

After their three successful long players “Ikarus” (2008), “Wizard King” (2011) and “7 Deadly Sins” (2016) they are ready to rock again.

ME AND THE REST‘s new motto is: We Are Bulletproof“, and that’s what they are; immune to the quick changes in musical styles of the past 30 years, true to their Hard Rock, characterised by catchy melodies and peppered with great hook lines. They remain standing and celebrating their Hard Rock… expect an exciting year filled with great new music – one new track every month!

ME AND THE REST is:

Jürg Theiler – Vocals
Edel Murchie – Bass
Jan Moser – Drums
Jürg Götz – Guitar
Antonio Schiavano – Guitar

AN INTRODUCTION OF ME AND THE REST

ME AND THE REST – the Hard Rock band from Zurich (Oberland region) on the road playing the Rock’n’Roll circus since 1991. With more than 6000 sold copies of their CDs and over 400 (and counting) performed concerts on that trail, they never once lost sight of their “long live Rock’n’Roll” vision.

Real, authentic and true-to-the-core, they celebrate their music with their signature riffs, wonderful hooklines and killer vocals. As supporting act of SOTO (Scandinavien Tour), Molly Hatchet, DORO, Krokus, Jane, Don Dokken, Rhino Bucket and many other well-known established groups, they grew to learn at the feet of the masters, polishing their live act to soon become the talk of their peers and many fans.

On stage, be it large or larger venues, they grew to reach their audiences’ inner hearts, drawing them into the magic of, as how they see it, the Rock’n’Roll dream. Whether it was the stage of the Hard Rock Café in Oslo, the Hall of Fame in Wetzikon, Z7 in Pratteln, the Alpenrock House in Zürich, the Albani-Club in Winterthur, the Open-Air Appenzell or Europe’s biggest Biker meeting in Sumiswald (Bern), ME AND THE REST really rocked them till they dropped. With consistently positive concert critiques, strong newspaper and genre magazine reviews about their CD releases, they placed themselves as a musical pearl in the demanding world of Hard Rock.

The band name stands for “All for one and one for all”; Three men and a woman – all focused on “one goal, one family, one band”. Each band member is simultaneously me and the rest. It is clear for all in this ‘family’ that there is no place or room for egocentricity. They stand both close and true to the fountainhead of Rock music. Rock’n’Roll leaps instinctively from the guts of each member. Their love of the art form and its message clearly envelopes everyone that hears their music. The spirit of Rock feeds the audience as well as the band itself and is reflected in both their music and words. Driving anthemic riffs, bodies drenched in sweat, they live their lives for that hunger and that fire. That’s what Rock’n’Roll truly is all about.

Russian band rock the Allies

Politically there may be no love lost between Russia and the Western Allies, US and UK, however, when it comes to Music… we simply can’t get enough of Russian indie-rock band Apache Rose and we aren’t the only ones! The band have over 10,000 Facebook followers and over a quarter of a million YouTube views of their last single.

The new single, “Blind Spot” is a ‘tribute’ to reckless taxi drivers worldwide and has an overarching theme of being careful not to put yourself in situations you can’t control.

Built around the Muscovite engine of Ilya Novokhatskiy, Apache Rose is far from Russian interference, it is the clarion call for the return of ultra-catchy melodic rock, with the earworms of The Beatles and the raw swagger of The Strokes. And with influence coming from both the 60s and 90s music scenes, Apache Rose ironically combine these sounds in their EP, which is set to be released Summer 2020.

Have a listen to Apache Rose’s previous single, Attention!

Whilst we wait for the new single and album to be dropped in the next couple of months, give the band a follow on social to keep up to date with all their news.

WELCOME TO HEL…star

HELSTAR release their new single “Black Cathedral” , available via iTunes. The track is taken from the band’s new album “Vampiro“, due later in the year via EMP Label Group. The cover artwork of “Black Cathedral” can be seen below.

HELSTAR just signed with MEGADETH bassist David Ellefson‘s EMP Label Group.

Vampiro” is “another opus of tales of Dracula and vampires, like the band’s all-time most acclaimed 1989 release ‘Nosferatu‘.”

HELSTAR‘s last studio album, “This Wicked Nest“, came out in April 2014 via AFM Records.

Formed in Houston in the early ’80s, HELSTAR cut its teeth playing backyard parties and small club gigs. It soon became apparent that HELSTAR had much more to offer then its contemporaries. Combat Records snapped up the band and released HELSTAR‘s debut, “Burning Star“, in 1984. Next came “Remnants of War“, followed by HELSTAR‘s breakthrough album, “A Distant Thunder“, in 1988. The success of “A Distant Thunder” ultimately set up “Nosferatu“.

Fresh new duo Dalimore aiming ‘Higher’ with new single

A brand new duo from the North East of England, Dalimore are Dan Bishop and Nathan Brewis who formed as a duo late in 2014 having previously worked on separate musical projects. It hasn’t taken long for them to find their sound, with new single ‘Higher’ due for release on May 11th.

You can hear the single ‘Higher’ on YouTube now, with a full official video due May 1st:

With the single recorded and ready for release, the pair are now working on ideas for their first EP, collecting together new tracks to continue on their journey to spread their music as far and wide as possible.

With comparisons to the likes of Kodaline, The Fray, The Script, Coldplay, Ben Howard and more, their tracks blend genres from indie, via soul, to pop-rock, taking in influences from their own individual backgrounds and mixing them to great effect.

If there’s any justice, this level of determination will soon see Dalimore making their own mark on the music industry.
