Franklin Lake going ‘Supersonic’ with new four track EP

Fantastic new EP released though Universal distribution on Monday 29th June

A five piece boy band from the South East of the UK, Franklin Lake are a contemporary pop group who are set to become Britain’s breakthrough act of 2015. A group of talented individuals who have combined to create an even stronger whole, each member brings their own cultured vocal to the unique blend.

Their debut EP, ‘Supersonic’, is set for release on June 29th and is backed by Universal distribution, demonstrating just how much promise this group of young men have. Having already turned heads with those in the industry, the time is right for finding a wider audience.

It’s fitting then that this EP is all about coming of age and finding your place as a young man in the UK, with songs concerning love, life, and music itself. For a taste, here’s EP track ‘Supersonic’.

In addition to this track, the EP contains another three belting pop tunes, each as infectious and affecting as the last. Also, as an added extra for iTunes users, bonus track ‘High Maintenance’ will be available alongside the release.

Another string to the Franklin Lake bow sees them working with some of the finest producers in the world on remixes of their tracks, tinkering with the arrangements to shape them into ready-made pop and club hits. The list of names is an impressive one, including recent ‘Best International Dance Producers Award’ wnners Soulshaker, DASCO (signed to Phonetic, Kontor, Radikal, Blanco Y Negro and BIP), Mob Culture (currently working single releases with Sony) and So Cool Network who are huge on the Shoreditch and Bristol EDM scenes. All of these producers are playing at the top of their game and hold places in the Music Week Charts on current singles packages, which says a lot for the calibre of people looking to work with Franklin Lake.

‘Supersonic’ is the final culmination of a lot of hard work from Franklin Lake to establish themselves as a true upcoming force in the UK music industry. Developing a reputation for their hard work ethic, the group have gigged up and down the country in some of the UK’s most prestigious venues. Along the way they have appeared at events alongside the likes of Dappy, Olly Murs, Wretch32, James Arthur, Union J, Collabro and more. And in 2015, they are looking to establish themselves further alongside household names like these.
